Weekly reading for week 40, september 28 to october 4th.

The Magical Unicorns oracle deck has beautiful energies and I felt drawn to use this deck for this week. As usual I took a few deep breaths and asked the Universe for guidance, shuffled the cards and laid three cards for this week.

Cards for week 40.
Cards for week 40

Monday to wednesday.

The first card for this week says “One step at a time”. Lots of little steps make big dreams come true. All big goals can be split up in smaller goals or action steps, and if we do that we can make our way to our big goal, on step at a time. This way it might not feel overwhelming, but instead doable.

Thursday and friday.

This card says that it’s “Worth waiting for”. Your patience will be rewarded. Everything happens at the perfect time, and this is why you needed to waut. You had lessons to learn, and other people had to be ready as well. Now everything is set, and you’ll find that your prayers have been answered. All of your patience and hard work wil now be rewarded. Don’t settle for “good enough”, you deserve the best!

The weekend.

The last card for this week says “Love from your parents”. No matter what. your mother and father love you as much as they can. Maybe not always easy to see as we all express our love in different ways, and sometimes perhaps not at all. This card is telling you that your parents love you deep within even if they don’t always express it

Summary:

The first two cards connects beautifully as when you take all those baby steps, with enough time and patience you will reach your goal. Everything just needs to align and your hard work will pay off. The weekend might be a good time to connect with your parents,or if they’re no longer here, take some time to remember them.

What are the steps you can take to reach your goal?
Can you make smaller goals and/or action steps to reach that bigger goal?
Can you be patient and keep your focus on your goal?
Do you have the relationship with your parents that you want? if not, what can you do?

Weekly reading for week 39, september 21 to 27.

Lately I’ve felt connected to my feminine side, digging deep into my intuition, and this week I feel drawn to use the Goddess Power oracle deck by Colette Baron-Reid. I love her decks and this one have beautiful illustrations made byJena DellaGrottaglia.
After connecting with the Universe, my guides and of course the Goddesses and my intuition I drew these cards for this week.

Monday to wednesday.

The first card for the week is “Freya” the Norse Goddess of war, and it says “Radical Acceptance”. She is a reminder that acceptance of defeat is not the end. She offers the gift of acceptance, the knowing that there is nothing to resist right now. Don’t take this world personally, and let the drama die out. There is clarity to be gained from this when you accept what is and move on.

Thursday and friday.

Next card is “Hecate” the Greek Goddess of cross-roads and in-between. In this case of who you have been and what you are becoming. Now is not the time for hasty action or stubbornness, but a fierce self-inventory. Bless the past and release all attachments to the stories that was. Who do you want to become? What kind of life are you prepared to live, and how will you wisely yield your power to co-create a new world beneficial for others and not just yourself? Say yes and step into the unknown and Hecate will guide you with her torch.

The weekend.

The last card is “Aine” and it says “Adaptability”, and adaptability is the power you need to rely on. “Who do you need to become in order to experience this lif you desire? What in you needs to shift so you can welcome this amazing abundance? Know that you have everything you need right now. You are aligned with the Celtic shapeshifter goddess Aine, who could move effortlessly between our world and the world of Faery. Her power of adaptability is sparkling within you. Magic is afoot.

Summary:

This week connects beautifully with first letting go of what has been to stepping in to decisions on what to do and where to go and adapt to what you need to be or do. Take action! Be clear on what you want.

Can you pick up from what felt like a lost battle and get the clarity you need to move on?

Jazzing it up!

The last week I’ve been busy with a free five day course in jazz with Heidi Krenn. That was both joyful and interesting, and I think I learned a lot. I even tried out a bit of scatting.
Honeysuckle Rose by “Fats” Waller was the song we were working with.

For some reason I came up with the idea of recording the song, and did a quick draft with some basic piano, bass, drums and song. So far it’s just three choruses and one bridge, and no scatting (yet). Here’s what it sounds like so far.

Honeysuckle Rose short draft

I need to do a better intro, a bit longer, and maybe add some instruments and an ending, if I continue with the recording. What do you think? Continue or scrap?

Weekly reading for week 38, september 14 to 20.

This week I picked the Good Tarot deck by Colette Baron-Reid. I asked the Universe and my Guardian Angels for guidance, and these are the cards I got.

“Messenger of fire” is the first card for the week, and she talks about determination for a new adventure, innovation, independent creative action and she’s spirited and headstrong.
You have an unstopable spirit an can co-create all that you desire.

Thursday and friday.

“7 of Water” is the next card and it stands for imagination, fantasy, artistic endeavours, co-creative abilities unleashed, and this is what the booklet says.
“Now is the time to tune in to the infinite posibilities that exist and begin to play with them. Everything begins in the world of imagination, and i seize the opportunity to dream. i allow my intuition and desire to blend in an alchemical way, forming something new, Castles in the air can become castles on the ground when i release rigidity, bend the rules, and remain flexible and open. limitations and boundaries give away to manifestation.”.

The weekend.

The last card for this week is “2 of Fire” and it talks of creative planning for the future, mapping progress, trusting in the unknown, Spirit-inspired ambition. Keep on doing what you have started.

Summary:

This week talks about starting new projects and co-creating, and you’re guided. Just listen to your inner voice. Then at the end of the week it’s time to map things out so you can get them done.

What will you start creating?
What do you need to do to get into that creative mode?
How can you best plan your projects and keep them going?

Weekly reading for week 37, september 7 to 13

This week I’m going back to the origin of Tarot more or less and will use the Visconti-Sforza Golden Tarot deck. Those cards was originally hand painted and only something for the very rich. They’re beautiful to look at but their size makes them a little bit “hard” to work with. As usual I call on guidance from the Universe to help me draw the cards that is of most help for all who takes part in my reading.

Cards for week 37
Cards for week 37

Monday to wednesday.

The first card is “Nine of swords” and this card tells us that we might worry too much about things happening in the world and in our lives. We might have nightmares. Don’t take on other peoples problems or accuse yourself. Focusing mentally and go in underneath can help you overcome this. How can you relieve yourself from fear and anxiety?

Thursday to friday.

“Three of swords is the next card and even though it usually stands for heartbreak of some kind, this card is reversed and then it gets a lot more positive ring to it, as it’s talking about releasing pain, optimism and forgiveness. Maybe the problems of the previous card comes to an end and the pain is released.

The weekend.

When shuffling the cards for the weekend, two cards fell out and I got “Five of swords” and “Ace of swords, reversed”. The first card stands for conflict or someone trying to win at all cost, and you might feel betrayed, and the reversed Ace talks about lack of clarity or confusion. Looks like our thoughts are still haunting us, and we need to get clarity. How can you accomplish that?

Summary:

This week seems to go in the sign of the swords, which means it has to do with intellect and thoughts. One interesting thing is that earlier the “Ten of Swords” have shown up several times. A card that usully means that we have taken on a large burden and might be on the brink of overwhelm, and this might cause the worry in the beginning of the week. Can we remove something from our to do list and lessen the burden, then maybe things will resolve themselves. What can you do to get clarity? Meditation and doing things to re-energize might help.
