The pilot was painted and put in place and the front glass was also put in place.
And then the canopy was put in place with blue tac.
I used medium grey as a kind of primer to check for flaws.
Some flaws was puttied and sanded.
Then it was primed again.
As was some covers.
I had to sort a minor flaw created when I sanded the top of the plane. Once that was fixed, I could put on the first cote of paint, RAF medium sea grey.
I’ll let it dry and then start masking for the first topside camo colour.
