Here’s some pics of my latest figure or figures, Ghazghkull Thraka and his standard bearer.

I’m quite happy with how it turned out, even though I made a few mistakes like assembling it fully before painting.
and other artistic stuff
With the missiles in place and the weathering done, I’ll consider this build finished!
It is a nice kit that goes together very well and barely needs any filler. I used a little on the wings where they meet the fuselage and some sprue glue took care of the seams on the fuselage and along the spine.
I wouldn’t mind building one more in another scheme if I get the opportunity to get one.
Here’s some pics of the finished build!
The MiG now sits nicely in my cabinet, so on to the next build! π
After doing some more weathering, I now consider this build finished!
It’s a fun kit to build with, for me, nostalgic memories from building it in my youth.
The age of the kit also tells in some places were burr was quite evident. Otherwise this kit goes together quite nicely. If I can find the set with gun and crew, I’ll build that as well!
Anyway, withouth further ado, here’s the final reveal pics! π
This kit was started on Christmas 2008, and for some reason ended up on a shelf. It was picked up in turns, were little was done each time. One of the things was removing old masking tape and blue tac and paint was touched up somewhat.
And now finally I’ve taken the time to finish it! Here’s some pics of the finished build!
Enjoy!
On to the next build! π
